A coordinated network of european expertise.
The MARTINA consortium is coordinated by the Royal Netherlands Aerospace Centre (NLR), an independent research organisation at the forefront of aerospace science and technology. NLR acts as the single point of accountability for technical integration, scientific governance, and reporting to the European Defence Fund.
Across three operational programmes — ARGOS, ARGUS, and MYRIAD — partner organisations collaborate to develop, validate, and deploy AI systems capable of automated satellite image analysis at European scale. Each programme integrates research outputs with operational requirements from end-user organisations across multiple EU member states.

Co-funded by the European Defence Fund under grant agreement no. 101103386
